About me

Artist living near Frankfurt/Main, Germany.

I am married, have two grown-up children and, in addition to art and traveling, I also love playing the electric guitar in a band.

My paintings are generally cheerful and lively, painted for all those who, like me, love beautiful art and décor!

I particularly admire the art of painters such as Franz Marc, Paul Cezanne, Claude Monet and Vincent van Gogh. Their expressive use of colors and light, the depiction of the beauty of nature in their paintings, are a great inspiration for me. They have shaped and influenced my art and also my personal painting style in many ways.

I paint impressionistic and expressionistic paintings of motifs from my homeland and from our travels, always looking for colors and light. The south of France in particular, with its typical colors and intense light, is an inexhaustible source of inspiration.

 

I mainly use acrylic paints as a medium, always mixing bright, natural colors that optimally support my intuitive, dynamic painting process.
